About the Practitioner:
Simmi Shirwaikar is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York where she earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. While at at Pacific College, she completed clinical internships at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY and at Pacific College Acupuncture Clinic in Manhattan. She received her certification in acupuncture and herbal medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in August 2008 and is licensed by the State of New York to practice acupuncture.
Simmi uses many styles of acupuncture such Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method, Master Tung’s Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Acupuncture and Japanese Acupuncture. She is also certified Master in Reiki Healing.
Simmi also has a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the University of Rochester.
